Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device. Some of the cookies used are deleted after the end of the browser session, i.e., after you close your browser (so-called session cookies). Other cookies remain on your device and enable us to recognize your browser on your next visit (persistent cookies). You can set your browser so that you are separately informed about the use of cookies and can decide individually whether to accept them, or exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general. For more information, please refer to the help section of your internet browser. If cookies are not accepted, the functionality of our website may be limited.

Similar technologies can include pixels, plug-ins, scripts, or other comparable technologies for storing information.

A pixel is a small string of code, e.g., implemented in a website or email, through which information can be collected.

With the help of other comparable technologies for storing information, such as local storage, a website or application can store information locally on your computer or mobile device or recognize locally available information.

We use the term “cookies” below to refer to cookies, pixels, and all comparable technologies that access information on your browser or device.

We, Bidi GmbH, offer visitors to our website a joint cookie management system. Your consent to the respective categories of cookies applies to both companies simultaneously, just as your revocation of consent to a cookie category applies to both companies. However, each company uses and is responsible for various cookies and tools on its own domain. You can see which company is responsible for which domain above, and which company is responsible for which cookies can be found in the information for the respective cookie category.

We differentiate between strictly necessary cookies, which are essential for the use of our websites; functional cookies, which serve to facilitate the use of our website; performance and statistical cookies, with which we generate aggregated data on website usage and statistics; and marketing cookies to display relevant content and advertising. By accepting our “cookie banner,” you agree to the processing of your personal data by cookies. The legal basis for the use of performance and statistical and marketing cookies is your consent in accordance with Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR. The legal basis for the use of strictly necessary cookies and functional cookies is Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR. Below you will find information about the individual cookies.

The legal basis for the use of strictly necessary cookies and functional cookies is Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR and Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR. It is in our legitimate interest to display our website and online ordering options to you at all times with high quality and security. You can generally refuse the use of cookies through your browser settings. This may result in our pages no longer being displayed. You also have the option of making individual selections under “Cookie Settings.”

Personalization using the collected data

If you agree, we will also link information about you obtained both through tracking on online media and through your direct interactions with us, supplement it with certain statistical information and calculated characteristics, and evaluate it together. We use various analysis methods, which may also include machine learning methods. This allows us to identify characteristics of individual users and user groups and gain statistical insights.

In particular, your master data (e.g., name, date of birth, email address, address, payment method), purchase data, interaction and communication data (information about direct contacts between you and a Bidi GmbH, as well as the content of the communication), other voluntary information, as well as statistical information and calculated characteristics based on previous data analyses, will be linked and evaluated.

This is done to process the aforementioned data for a precisely tailored, personalized approach and precisely tailored, personalized marketing control.

In particular, we will determine predictions about interests, preferences, and other characteristics and use these to optimize and prioritize our approach. For example, we will contact users at a likely favorable time via their preferred channel with appropriate imagery about interesting offers and promotions (possibly across different devices), or we will contact dissatisfied customers in a targeted manner. We can also prioritize and combine approaches.

The legal basis for creating an individual profile about you is your consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR.

If both Bidi GmbH are mentioned in the overview of active cookies, the companies are responsible for the use of these tools and cookies in their respective domains.

Google Consent Mode

We use the basic version of “Google Consent Mode,” a web service provided by Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Google Consent Mode enables us and Google to honor your choices regarding cookies and similar technologies made via our cookie banner or in our cookie settings. Only if you have consented to the use of the respective categories of cookies will we set cookies from and for the Google tools described in those categories (e.g., Google Analytics and Google Ads). Depending on the type of cookie, these cookies may be read by Google, e.g., for reporting conversions in Google Ads. If you do not give your consent, we will notify Google so that no cookies or third-party cookies are set by or for Google services. This is done by sending consent status “pings” to Google servers, indicating the user’s refusal to consent. In addition to the “consent denied” information, such consent pings may also contain: timestamp, user agent (web only), and referrer, information about whether the current or previously visited page on our website contained “ad-click” information in the URL, information about the consent status, and a random number generated each time the page is loaded. This is necessary so that all Google products we use respect your choices and do not place cookies or collect information through cookies placed in your browser.

As usual, the IP address is recorded but discarded at the next Google server point. This usually happens within the EU if you are visiting our website from the EU (and are not using a VPN or proxy).

For more information about how we use Google Analytics (performance cookies) and Google Ads (marketing cookies), please see the respective categories. You can also access the Google Business Safety page via this link: https://business.safety.google/privacy/.
